Ruddy wins monthly player award
Stockport goalkeeper John Ruddy has been named League Two player of the month for March.
The 21-year-old has been in outstanding form recently, keeping five clean sheets in six games for County.
County boss Jim Gannon told BBC Radio Manchester on Saturday: "Over the last eight weeks John's been immense for us and kept a lot of clean sheets.
"When called upon he's pulled off some fantastic saves and the lad is destined for great things."
The other contenders for the award were Bury's Andy Bishop, Milton Keynes Dons' Keith Andrews and Peterborough's Aaron Mclean.
Stockport lie three points off third place in League Two as they hope to pip Hereford and Darlington to automatic promotion.
