Stevenage bag Boylan and Christie

U's striker Lee Boylan

Stevenage have completed the signing of striker Lee Boylan after agreeing an undisclosed fee with Cambridge United.

Borough had an initial offer for the 29-year-old rejected by the U's but have finally got their man.

Boylan scored 13 goals in 28 starts for Cambridge last season as they reached the Blue Square Premier play-off final, only to lose to Exeter.

Stevenage have also confirmed the signing of Kidderminster Harriers forward Iyseden Christie, 31.

The former Coventry trainee, who has also played for Mansfield, Leyton Orient and Rochdale, netted 17 goals in 25 starts for Harriers last season.
