Birmingham man has Southend trial
Southend are giving a trial to Birmingham defender Sam Oji over the next 28 days.
Oji has one year left on his contract with the Premiership outfit and will be allowed to play in a maximum of two matches for the Shrimpers.
The 21-year-old has only made one appearance for Birmingham's first-team.
Southend assistant boss Paul Brush told the club website: "We've made it known that we want a central defender and this is an avenue we're exploring."
