Saints add Pulis on two-year deal

Anthony Pulis

Southampton have completed the signing of midfielder Anthony Pulis from Stoke City on a free transfer.

The 24-year-old son of Potters boss Tony Pulis has signed a two-year deal at St Mary's.

The former Wales Under-21 international is currently out injured with a foot problem he sustained in training.

Saints head coach Jan Poortvliet told: the club website: "We have a lot of competition for places, and Anthony will certainly add to that."

He added: "At the moment he's out injured but we look forward to seeing what he can do when he's back to full fitness."

Meanwhile, Saints midfielder Adam Lallana has signed a new three-year contract at St Mary's.
