Surman signs new deal with Saints
Southampton midfielder Andrew Surman has signed a new deal to keep him at St Mary's until 2011.
Surman, 20, is a product of the club's academy and broke into the side after loan spells at Bournemouth and Walsall.
He told Saints website: "I'm really chuffed, it didn't take long to negotiate as I was happy to sign here.
"I've always supported the club and played in the first team for a couple of seasons now, so I had no hesitation in signing a new contract."
