Jackson relishes Shrews challenge
Defender Michael Jackson has said he turned down a move to Scunthorpe to play a division lower with Shrewsbury.
The 34-year-old, who has joined on a free transfer from Blackpool, said he was impressed by the club's ambition.
"It isn't a League Two standard here, it's Championship standard all the way," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"The whole club is looking forward, we can't say 'yes we will get promoted' but we'll give it a really good go, that's for sure."
