No slacking from Shrews - Simpson
Shrewsbury boss Paul Simspon says his players face a tough pre-season under his watchful eye.
"Training plans are in place and it'll be hard work for them," said Simpson, who will have his new signings together for the first time.
"I'm pleased with the players we've brought in, and I think they're really good additions to the squad."
Goalkeeper Scott Bevan will be rested for a few days, as he recovers from a knee operation.
In a new move for the club, Town will be going abroad to a training camp in Spain.
Simpson insists that will be anything but a holiday. "We need to work really hard," he said. "There's a long season ahead."
The new manager's first full campaign in charge will be kick-started with prestigious friendlies against Premier League new boys Stoke and West Brom.
