Blades extend overseas scouting
Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell is extending the club's scouting system to include plans for attracting players from overseas.
The Blades boss, who signed a three-year deal last week, told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"We're developing a brand new scouting system that will be more inclusive both home and abroad so we could see one or two foreign players coming in.
"What we've got to do is not sign the big names but the right names."
United have also announced that chairman Terry Robinson is to become the new chairman of the Blade's associated club Ferencvaros.
Robinson will combine the role in Hungary with his duties at Sheffield where he will look after transfers.
But he told BBC Radio Sheffield it will be a huge job: "I think it will be a 50-50 split, the key times in England are now until July and it is also the difficult time in Hungary."
Sheffield United linked up with the Hungarian club after PLC chairman Kevin McCabe bought a stake in the famous Budapest club in February.
