Martin return pleases Blackwell

Sheffield United

Manchester United youngster Lee Martin has delighted Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell by choosing to end the season with the Blades.

The 21-year-old winger has returned on loan to Bramall lane from the Premier League leaders after missing the last 10 games with a knee injury.

Blackwell told BBC Radio Sheffield: "He could have gone back to Manchester United and rested on his laurels.

"But he wanted to get back because the team's winning every week."

Martin is expected to go straight into the squad to face Hull City on Saturday after returning to full training with the Blades this week.

"He's done a full week this week and he's looking sharp, so the good thing is Lee is in my mind for Saturday." said Blackwell.
