Shrimps winger agrees Iron move
Scunthorpe United have agreed to sign Morecambe winger Garry Thompson on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old has signed a three-year deal after turning down a new contract at Christie Park and will join the Iron on 1 July.
Thompson began his career at the Shrimps and scored the equaliser in their Conference play-off final win over Exeter in May 2007.
This season he played 42 games for the League Two side, scoring eight goals.
