Kirkcaldy clear-out after defeat

Raith Rovers manager John McGlynn

Raith Rovers have released eight players after their failure to win promotion to Division One.

Goalkeepers Michael Brown, Chris Fahey and Keiron Renton have been freed.

Defender Joe Dingwall, midfielders Ryan Borris, Niall Henderson and Craig Winter, plus forward Derek Carcary, have also departed Stark's Park.

John McGlynn's side finished third in Division Two but lost their two-leg semi-final play-off against second-top Airdrie United.
