Portsmouth have continued their busy preparations for next season by releasing five players.
Noe Pamarot, Lauren, Glen Little, Djimi Traore and Jerome Thomas have been told their contracts will not be renewed.
Full-back Traore has already signed a two-year deal with French top-flight outfit AS Monaco.
Striker Kanu is considering a one-year extension while defender Sol Campbell, who is also out of contract, could begin negotiations for a new deal.
"Whether there will be further talks, we will look at it next week," said Pompey chairman Peter Storrie.
Former Arsenal defender Lauren, 32, and ex-Liverpool left-back Traore, 29, did not feature for Portsmouth last season, while defender Pamarot, 30, played 22 matches.

Glen Johnson, Jermaine Pennant and Armand Traore have also departed Fratton Park in the close season.
