James is boosted by psychologist

Portsmouth and England goalkeeper David James Portsmouth's in-form England goalkeeper David James reckons his game has improved significantly through the use of psychology.

The 37-year-old said: "I do it in the hotel room before the game, do it on the bus and do it on the pitch.

"I work on every eventuality and hopefully don't get surprised," he told BBC Radio Solent.

James, who recently regained the England number one spot, employs a personal psychologist, Keith Power.
