Kiely makes switch to Portsmouth
Portsmouth have signed keeper Dean Kiely from Premiership rivals Charlton for an undisclosed fee.
Kiely has found first-team football hard to earn at The Valley when he lost his place after missing the start of the season with a finger injury.
The 35-year-old has been brought in to compete with Jamie Ashdown at Pompey and is set to make his debut against Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday.
Charlton may now attempt to sign Robert Green from Norwich as a replacement.
Green threw his shirt into the Carrow Road crowd after Saturday's defeat by Watford, although he insisted this was just down to frustration rather than a farewell to the Norwich fans.
But the 26-year-old is thought to be keen to return to the Premiership to boost his international chances in the run-up to the World Cup.
