Bond rejoins Redknapp at Pompey
Kevin Bond has returned to Portsmouth as assistant manager to Harry Redknapp, reports BBC Radio Solent.
Bond was on the coaching staff at Fratton Park but followed Redknapp when he moved to Southampton 13 months ago.
He was recently placed on gardening leave at St Mary's and Redknapp made no secret of his wish to work with Bond again after his shock return to Pompey.
"I'm delighted. He's a good coach and you need people who you trust and feel comfortable with," Redknapp said.
Joe Jordan, who did not follow Redknapp to Southampton, will continue in his role as Portsmouth's first team coach.
"I'm delighted with the pair of them," continued Redknapp.
"The lads are all delighted to see Kevin back, Dejan Stefanovic kept asking
me 'are we going to get Kevin back?'"
