Stockport recall Owen from Vale
Stockport County have recalled central defender Gareth Owen from his loan spell with League Two side Port Vale.
After previously being told he had no future at Stockport, it had been thought that the 26-year-old would sign a permanent deal with the Valiants.
Vale manager Dean Glover told the club website: "It's very frustrating. Gareth is just the type of player we need to improve the team.
"Unfortunately there is little we can do when a situation like this occurs."
