Plymouth wrap up Martin loan deal

Lee Martin Plymouth Argyle have won the four-club race to sign Manchester United winger Lee Martin on a three-month loan deal.

Martin, 20, was loaned to Rangers and Stoke last season, but his only appearances for United this term have been in the Carling Cup.

Argyle beat off competition from three unnamed Championship clubs and boss Ian Holloway was delighted.

"Lee brings something we haven't got. He likes to run with it and take people on," Holloway told the club website.

"He's a fresh young talent who wants to learn and get first team experience.

"We've been following him for about three years and we believe in him."
