Ferguson rejects QPR speculation
Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has played down reports linking him with a move to the vacant manager's job at Queens Park Rangers.
He has been mentioned in connection to the role which was made available by the departure of Iain Dowie on Friday.
Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "It's speculation and happened last year with us over Aaron [McLean].
"The chairman made a statement of intent by turning down the money every club in this league would have taken."
Posh demolished Huddersfield 4-0 in League One on Saturday, moving into the play-off positions for the first time this season.
Striker McLean scored twice on his return from a dislocated shoulder.
"He's been in my office moaning that's he's not been playing, but it was the right time to bring him back," said former Wrexham midfielder Ferguson.
