Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson has revealed local rivals Cambridge United have enquired about several potential striker loans.
Posh have six forwards currently on their books, but only Danny Crow, 22, has been made available for transfer.
"I think they've enquired about three or four of our strikers," Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
"If it's going to be anyone it'll be Danny...I'm not going to let any of the others go out at the moment."
Aaron McLean and Craig Mackail-Smith looks set to continue as Ferguson's preferred forward pairing for next season.
That leaves former U's striker Scott Rendell, Liam Hatch, Rene Howe and former Norwich player Crow as back-up.
Ferguson said: "I've got six [strikers] in theory...Danny Crow's not part of my plans, and I'll have a look at the other five and see if I want to make a decision on that," he said.
Crow has spent the past three seasons at London Road, scoring 23 goals in 77 appearances, but has fallen out of favour under Ferguson and spent part of last season on loan at Notts County.

However BBC Radio Cambridgeshire understands Crow is not interested in a move to the Blue Square Premier U's and is hoping to stay in the Football League.
Meanwhile, Ferguson has confirmed Wolverhampton Wanderers will not be following up their interest in £5m-rated Aaron McLean.
"Aaron will be staying now, the Wolves thing's dead and we're all delighted about that."
