Patterson delight for Constable

James Constable

Oxford United manager Darren Patterson has said he is delighted striker James Constable found the net for the England C team against Italy in midweek.

Constable scored the equaliser as the non-league players secured their place in the final of the International Challenge Trophy with a 2-2 draw.

Patterson told BBC Oxford: "He has been frustrated by a few things, but he works his socks off for the team.

"I am delighted for him, now I hope it continues for us."
