Norwich City manager Glenn Roeder has revealed he wants to bring another striker to the club on loan.
The Canaries currently have eight players in on loan but Roeder has told BBC Radio Norfolk he is considering strengthening his options in attack.
"I feel that we are one goalscorer short and I'm working on that, at this time of the year it would be a loan.
"I love loan players - for those that don't, bad luck. They've done a great job here at Norwich."
Norwich City have been able to exploit a loophole in Football League rules this season to increase the number of loan players in their matchday squad.
Officially teams can only name five loan signings in their squad of 16 for a match.

However loans from foreign clubs are not recognised by the League and so the Canaries have effectively signed John Kennedy from Celtic and Fiorentina striker Arturo Lupoli with the understanding they will return to their clubs at the end of their spells at Carrow Road.
Roeder has defended his policy of relying on loan signings so heavily, insisting it is the only way he would be able to bring in players of the quality he is looking for.
"I think the two full-backs [Elliot Omozusi and Ryan Bertrand] are good examples of that, if you tried to buy them off of Fulham or Chelsea it would run in to millions of pounds.
"I think we're lucky to have them here, it's lucky for our supporters to be able to see players of that quality wearing the Norwich shirt and giving their all."
Roeder's policy of signing players on loan helped Norwich City stay in the Championship by just three points last season.
Manchester City striker Ched Evans, Ryan Bertrand, Birmingham's Martin Taylor and Arsenal youngster Kieran Gibbs were among those involved in the Canaries' relegation fight.
