Magpies snap up City's Sibierski
Newcastle have signed Antoine Sibierski from Manchester City on a one-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 32-year-old scored 11 goals in 92 games for City having been brought in from Lens by former boss Kevin Keegan.
The Frenchman began his career at Lille, where he bagged 17 goals in 97 matches before going on to Auxerre and then Nantes in 1998.
Sibierski, who can also play as a striker, had a year left on his Manchester City contract.
