McInally award for table-toppers

Morton manager Jim McInally Morton manager Jim McInally has received the Second Division's manager of the month award for August.

McInally saw his side start the campaign in impressive style with three league victories and a draw - without conceding a goal.

The Greenock side also won both of their Challenge Cup ties in August.

Morton are currently top of the Second Division with 17 points, four ahead of nearest challengers Cowdenbeath. Morton are away to Forfar on Saturday.
