Jackett releases 10 in Lions cull

Kenny Jackett

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has started to prepare for another season in League One by releasing 10 players.

Ahmet Brkovic, Richard Duffy, Adrian Forbes, Lenny Pidgeley, Danny Senda and Danny Spiller are among those told they have no future at the New Den.

Gary Bowes, Darren Ebsworth, Lyle Taylor and Laurie Walker are also not being retained.

Meanwhile, Jackett has offered new contracts to defender Alan Dunne, 26, and goalkeeper Preston Edwards, 19.

Neil Harris, Scott Barron, Andy Frampton and Gary Alexander have already agreed new deals.

The Lions have also signed striker Steve Morison from Stevenage Borough.
