Harris signs new Lions contract
Millwall striker Neil Harris has signed a new one-year deal with the Lions.
The 30-year-old, who has been at Millwall for 10 seasons in two spells, only scored three goals this season.
He was told he would be released this summer by boss Kenny Jackett in February, but fought his way back into his manager's plans.
"Everyone knows how much this club means to me. I had to talk things through with my family. We're delighted I'm staying," he told the club website.
Before signing the deal, he told BBC London 94.9: "Up to about six weeks ago, it did not look possible that the gaffer wanted me around next year so I am extremely proud that I have worked hard enough to force my way back in his plans."
