O'Neil sidelined by knee surgery
Midfielder Gary O'Neil will miss Middlesbrough's final four Premier League matches of the season after undergoing knee surgery.
The 24-year-old sustained lateral ligament damage during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
Boro's head of medicine Grant Downie told the club website: "Gary is expected to be available for pre-season summer training."
O'Neil joined Boro from Portsmouth for £5m in August 2007.
