Fernandes ends spell at Man City
Manchester City midfielder Gelson Fernandes has joined French team St Etienne for an undisclosed fee.
The Switzerland international joined City from FC Sion in July 2007, making 59 appearances for the club and scoring four goals.
But the 22-year-old found himself increasingly marginalised by City boss Mark Hughes, who used him 17 times in the Premier League last season.
St Etienne are managed by former Portsmouth boss Alain Perrin.
