Mexicans end interest in Castillo
Mexican club Guadalajara have given up hope of signing striker Nery Castillo, currently on loan at Manchester City.
The 24-year-old Shakhtar Donetsk front man had been training with Guadalajara, who hoped to sign the Mexican on loan until the end of the season.
Guadalajara blamed the player's agent for the breakdown in the move and insisted it would not be revived.
Castillo, who joined Manchester City in January, has been told he does not feature in manager Mark Hughes' plans.
