Richards released from hospital
Manchester City defender Micah Richards has been released from hospital after he was knocked unconscious in the 3-0 win over West Ham on Sunday.
The game was delayed for eight minutes as the England international defender lay on the ground after a clash of heads with team-mate Tal Ben Haim.
Richards was taken to hospital where a scan came back all clear on Sunday.
But he was left with concussion and seems likely to miss City's Uefa Cup tie against FC Midtjylland on Thursday.
Doctors will check his progress regularly over the next few days.
Boss Mark Hughes said immediately after the game: "You do worry but it was not as bad as it looked. He is a little bit concussed but should be OK."
