Boss Pearce makes Reyna admission
Manchester City's Claudio Reyna could leave the club to return to the United States for family reasons, manager Stuart Pearce has indicated.
The 33-year-old signed a one-year contract in January 2006 but has not played for City since December.
"We are in talks with him and his representatives because he might want to go back to the States," Pearce told the club website.
"It's a family scenario. Until anything is resolved, he stays a City player."
Former USA captain Reyna joined City from Sunderland for £2.5m in August 2003, having previously played for Rangers.
But last season he struggled after breaking an ankle and he has also been a peripheral figure this season.
