Luton sign midfielder

Robinson joined North End from Bournemouth in June 2000 but has failed to establish himself as a regular in the first team at Deepdale.

And he was loaned to Bristol City last season as he searched for first-team football.

"Steve has struggled to get into the first team on a regular basis in the last year," Preston chief executive Tony Scholes told the club's official website.

"And he feels this would give him a good chance to play regularly

"Steve has been unfortunate in his time here with the emergence of young players and the form of the other midfielders, but we wish him all the best at Luton."
