Livingston have denied they are in financial trouble - or that creditors are demanding payments and HM Revenue & customs is seeking unpaid taxes.
The club also face a ruling from Fifa to pay Blackburn Rovers a £43,000 sell-on fee for defender David McNamee.
But Tommaso Angelini, who was part of the Italian consortium that bought the club last summer, denied the First Division outfit were in difficulty.
"There are no financial problems at the club," said Angelini.
A travel company, a security firm, a photographer, a mobile disco and the former producers of the club website are among those seeking unpaid bills from the club's new owners.
The players' wages have not been paid on time and there have also been delays with bonus payments.
The players union has said it is watching the situation closely, with monthly salaries due to players next week.
Angelini also said there would be more money coming in to the club from investors and refuted newspaper reports claiming HM Revenue & Customs were pursuing unpaid tax bills.
"We have a fantastic relationship with the Inland Revenue - we are making regular payments to them," said Angelini.
"Everything is positive about the club."
Former chief executive Vivien Kyles has confirmed that she resigned from the Livingston board on Tuesday.
