Elliot given young player award
Calum Elliot has been rewarded for his loan move from Hearts to Livingston by being named young player of the month in the Scottish Football League.
The 22-year-old impressed the Irn Bru judges by scoring five goals in his first four games for Livi.
Elliot opened his tally in a 2-1 defeat by Airdrie United in the Challenge Cup.
He followed that with doubles in a 3-0 defeat of promotion rivals Dundee and a 3-1 win over Partick Thistle as Livi ended September on top of Division One.
Elliot failed to score in a Co-operative Insurance defeat by Celtic and in Livi's first October league fixture.
That was a 6-1 humbling by Queen of the South that lifted the Dumfries outfit above Livi in the First Division.
