Keane believed goals would come
Liverpool striker Robbie Keane says his confidence never dipped during his barren spell in front of goal.
Keane, 28, scored his first two Premier League goals for the Reds in their 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at Anfield on Saturday.
He told BBC Radio Merseyside: "I'm not one of those players that lets things get to them.
"I'm confident in my own ability and it was only a matter of time. It [scoring] was going to come."
Keane added: "I've settled in easily with the lads. It has taken me a little longer than I wanted but I feel with every game I'm getting confident.
"It's not about Robbie Keane, it's about the team and three points."

The £20m summer signing from Tottenham Hotspur was denied the chance to score a hat-trick against the Baggies when he was substituted after 72 minutes.
Keane took boss Rafa Benitez's decision in his stride: "It's not about me, I'm obviously happy to get the two goals.
"It's always nice to get as many goals as you can but it's about getting three points - that's the most important thing."
