Ling thrilled with Orient victory

Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling was thrilled after their 3-1 win over Tranmere lifted them four points clear of the League One relegation zone.

"The first half was the best 45 minutes we've played this season," he said.

"We did a professional job in the second half, took off the two wide boys and brought on Jason Demetriou and Phil Muylryne, and saw it out comfortably.

"We've spoken about the need to give ourselves breathing space, but we still have 11 cup finals to go."
