Leeds midfielder Andy Robinson says he does not regret walking out on Swansea.
The 29-year-old wants to play in the Championship but turned down the chance to do it with the Swans who went up in May, opting to stay in League One.
Robinson has started just nine league games for struggling Leeds, who sacked boss Gary McAllister last month.
"It's easy for people to point the finger at me and say I took the wrong decision but I don't think I did," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"This season isn't over by a long shot and I still hope we'll have a silver lining at the end of it.
"You can't have regrets in football, as long as you've made your decisions for the right reasons.
"I want to play in the Championship and I gave up that opportunity this season by coming to Leeds, but no-one can come to a club of this size and stature and say it's the wrong move.

"I'm happy to live and die by my decisions."
Leeds were one of the pre-season favourites for promotion to the Championship.
But following a run of five successive defeats - which saw them drop to ninth in League One, five points off the play-offs - McAllister was sacked.
Simon Grayson, who had been in charge of Blackpool, took over the reins at Elland Road.
Swansea, meanwhile, are 11th in the Championship after making a healthy start to life in English football's second tier.
"I'm sure I'll get the chance to play in the Championship with Leeds, and I still believe we'll be doing that next season," Robinson said. "That hasn't changed.
"I know people are being negative about our league position but we're not out of the running for anything yet, as long as we realise we've got no time to waste.
"I'm not denying we've given ourselves a hell of a challenge, but I'm confident that we're through the worst and I'm confident that this season will end the way we want it to end."
He added: "I said when I came here last summer that the things I'd achieved at Swansea meant nothing, because this is a different club and a different period of my career.
"I want to raise my game and play a bigger part in the second half of the season."
