Delph signs four-year Leeds deal
Highly-rated teenage midfielder Fabian Delph has signed a new four-year contract with Leeds United.
Delph, 18, has risen through the club's academy to establish himself in boss Gary McAllister's first-team squad, making six appearances this season.
McAllister told the club website: "He's someone we rate highly and it's a great opportunity for him.
"There's been some big clubs asking about his availability, but this has sent out a message."
McAllister added: "The club is moving forward now. We recognise producing our own is one way to do that and he is a fantastic product of the academy.
"He has to keep moving forward. He has some good people here advising him and it's up to him."
Delph said: "This is the club I want to play for and want to be at so it's wasn't a hard decision in the slightest."
