Leeds boosted by keeper signing
Leeds have received a major boost with signing of goalkeeper Casper Ankergren from Brondby for an undisclosed fee.
He had been on loan at Elland Road since January and the League One side have taken up the option to buy the 27-year-old on a three-year deal.
Leeds feared they would have to start the season without a keeper unless their transfer embargo was lifted.
Ankergren made 14 appearances for Leeds last season and is Dennis Wise's first permanent signing of the summer.
The Danish international made more than 100 appearances for Brondby, with whom he won a Danish league and cup double in 2004-05.
