Thompson completes move to Leeds
Championship strugglers Leeds have completed the signing of Celtic midfield man Alan Thompson.
The 33-year-old has completed a medical, but Thompson will have to wait for his debut with Leeds' clash at Birmingham called off.
Thompson has not featured for the Scottish champions this campaign but made over 200 appearances and scored 51 goals for Celtic.
He has signed initially on loan until the end of the season.
Leeds manager Dennis Wise has now brought in six new players during the transfer window in his bid to save his side from the drop into Division One.
Wise has so far signed Tresor Kandol, Matt Heath, Robbie Elliott, Armando Sa and Tore Andre Flo.
