Duo agree new deals at Harriers

Gavin Hurren

Winger Brian Smikle and striker Matt Barnes-Homer have agreed new deals with Kidderminster Harriers, but midfielder Gavin Hurren is to be released.

Smikle, 22, and Barnes-Homer, who scored seven goals this season, have both signed new one-year contracts.

Hurren, 22, had been in talks with manager Mark Yates but the club have confirmed he is leaving.

Yates told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "It was decided it was best for all parties if Gavin plays elsewhere."
