Inverness drop Wagaluka interest
Uganda midfielder Dan Wagaluka has failed to win a contract with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The 22-year-old, available for a nominal fee from Uganda Revenue Authority, had spent two weeks on trial with the Scottish Premier League club.
Manager Craig Brewster was impressed but said he would have to consider the cost and the work permit possibilities.
And Caley Thistle's website has now announced that the winger "has left the club without being offered a contract".
Wagaluka, who had also been linked with Hearts, had played for Inverness in the Barry Wilson Testimonial against Liverpool.
Brewster is keen to find more players to boost his squad before the closure of the transfer window.
"With the couple of injuries we have, we are down to the bare bones, so we really have to look at taking in one or two others," he said.
"But it depends if anybody is available and if they are of the right calibre."
