Bolton reject Hull bid for Davies
Hull City have confirmed they have had a club record bid for Bolton striker Kevin Davies rejected.
The Tigers are believed to have offered more than £2m for the Sheffield-born 31-year-old.
Hull chairman Paul Duffen told BBC Radio Humberside: We've made a bid for Kevin Davies but Bolton have said he's not for sale."
Davies began his career at Chesterfield before joining Southampton in 1997, he has also played for Blackburn Rovers.

Davies joined Bolton on a free transfer in July 2003 and has since made more than 200 apperances, scoring 40 times.
He played 41 matches last season, though he only managed to score four times.
