Tigers have Prutton bid accepted
Hull City have had their offer for Southampton midfielder David Prutton accepted by their Championship rivals.
The 25-year-old former England Under-21 international joined Saints for £2.5m from Nottingham Forest in January 2003.
Prutton, who was born in Hull, is out of contract at the end of the season and Saints are keen to sell him now.
Tigers boss Phil Brown said: "The second bid we made has been accepted by and we have been given permission to talk to him."
