Tigers sign Hughes from Charlton
Hull City have signed Charlton midfielder Bryan Hughes on a free transfer under the Bosman ruling.
The 31-year-old moves to the KC Stadium on a three-year contract, after spending three seasons at The Valley.
"I had a number of teams get in contact - Premiership and Championship - so I had a lot to consider," Hughes told the Tigers' website.
"But when I spoke to the manager and chairman, I knew there was only one place this club is going - forward."
Liverpool-born Hughes has made over 400 league appearances for Wrexham, Birmingham and Charlton.
Hull boss Phil Brown has been warned as to his future conduct by the Football Association.
The Tigers manager admitted a charge of improper conduct, in breach of FA rule E3, in relation to out-of-competition drug testing of the Hull squad on 29 January.
