Ternent defends Mirfin transfer
Huddersfield Town manager Stan Ternent has said the sale of young defender David Mirfin to Scunthorpe United was the right thing to do.
Town received £150,000 for Mirfin from their League One rivals.
"I have six centre-backs, so I'm in a position to let Mirfin go," Ternent told BBC Radio Leeds.
"I was happy for him to stay at the club but if everyone is fit I'm not going to pick him first. So it is a good move for all concerned."
