Bulls sign young defender Breen
Hereford United have announced the signing of young central defender Garry Breen on a one-year deal.
The 19-year-old Irishman joins the Edgar Street outfit from Manchester City as their second summer signing.
Breen was a part of the City Under-18s side that won their league last season, and also appeared for the Republic of Ireland at Under-17 and Under-19 level.
The Bulls have also agreed a new one-year deal with popular central defender Dean Beckwith.
Beckwith played a key part for the Bulls last season as the club won automatic promotion to League One.
He joined United at the start of the 2005-06 season and has enjoyed two promotions in his time at Edgar Street.
The Bulls now have three centre-backs on the books for next season with new signing Breen, Beckwith and Karl Broadhurst.
