Aguiar and Tullberg on way back

Mike Tullberg and Bruno Aguiar

Bruno Aguiar and Mike Tullberg have taken a major step towards full fitness after training with Hearts' first-team on Monday.

Boss Csaba Laszlo told Hearts' website: "That is good news as we have been without them for a while."

Portuguese midfielder Aguiar has been out of action since April following foot and knee problems.

Danish striker Tullberg tore a thigh muscle during pre-season shortly after his loan move from Reggina.

The 22-year-old recently travelled to his homeland to undergo what Hearts describe as intensive rehabilitation with renowned physiotherapist Thomas Macon.

Tullberg has returned to Edinburgh confident that the problem has been resolved.

He told Hearts' website: "I've been doing a lot of work with the physiotherapist and it has worked well."
