De Vries 'likely to leave Hearts'

Mark de Vries Mark de Vries' agent has warned Hearts that they must substantially increase the Dutchman's wages if they wish to hold on to him in the summer.

The club's main striker is out of contract at the end of the season.

And Armand Doorn said: "He has a lot of ambition and the possibility that he will leave Hearts this season is big.

"His goal is to play in England one day and that is still his dream. If he stays at Hearts then you would expect that he would make more money."

Doorn was in Edinburgh for talks with Hearts.

De Vries is free to talk to other clubs in January and the Scottish Premier League outfit could even cash in on the striker by selling him during the transfer window.
