Wilson frustrated by Pools defeat
Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson has admitted he was left exasperated by his side's lack of luck after Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Northampton.
Pools peppered the Cobblers' goal to no avail and ex-Barnsley boss Wilson is waiting for their turn in fortunes to materialise at Victoria Park.
"It's about getting a rub of the green," he told BBC Tees.
"We can't keep having performances like this and coming away and having nothing to show for it."
Pools have taken 11 points from their opening 10 matches and currently lie 16th in League One.
Their battling spirit has seen them bounce back from two and three-goal deficits in matches with Oldham Athletic and Swindon Town so far in this campaign and Wilson is confident his side is close to a breakthrough.
"We know we're on the right road, that's the nice thing about it," he said.
"If we were getting beaten 1-0 and getting hammered it would be be a big problem.
"It's a very fine line between turning it round on the other side and winning games and going on a run which we know we can do."
