Falkirk swoop to sign Pressley
Falkirk have beaten Inverness CT to the signature of veteran former Scotland defender Steven Pressley.
Pressley, 35, had been expected to join Caley Thistle after a spell in Denmark but he has opted to spend the rest of the season with the Bairns.
Manager John Hughes told the club's website: "I'm delighted to sign a player I have admired for many years.
"His experience and leadership will help shift the responsibility off other players."
The former Rangers, Hearts, Celtic and Coventry City defender, who is an assistant to Scotland manager George Burley, left Danish side Randers and was weighing up his playing options.

Are Bairns fans happy with their new signing?
Inverness boss Craig Brewster tabled an offer for Pressley at the weekend, with clubs in England and Switzerland also expressing their interest.
A delighted Hughes added: "Steven will also help nurse the younger guys along.
"I have to thank the Falkirk board for making the budget available for Steven."
